pages easier for small hands. Very few words, simple pictures.

pre-school. These books use a
lot of rhyming, minimal words, and large illustrations with lots of "white space". (Green dot)

Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus

Juvenile Easy: Target age is elementary school students. These books use more advanced vocabulary and more detailed illustrations than the picture books. Short paragraphs are introduced.

Horton Hears a Who

Juvenile Easy Reader: For emergent readers; children who are starting to be able to read on their own, with or without assistance. These books have more complex plot, and longer sentences.
