Activating Community Voices was an immersive and educational learning experience to highlight the dimensions of equity. To do this effectivity, the library worked with stakeholders to develop and implement an equity symposium, by the same title, where citizens and professionals learned about the dimensions of equity from leading experts and engaged in conversation together. Overall, the symposium provided a platform for citizens of Boone to have their voices heard, network with others, and deepen their understanding on equity.
